1. What is human trafficking?

Human trafficking is the illegal trade of human beings for the purposes of reproductive slavery, commercial sexual exploitation, forced labor, or a modern-day form of slavery.

2. How do traffickers recruit their victims?

Human traffickers recruit their victims by offering potential victims false promises, tricking them into becoming a “new client”. After the “new client” falls for the trick the trafficker transports the person to another place to become a victim of human trafficking.
